Ray and I went to Moab with the Leftwiches and Grandma Mert for the weekend. We stayed at the Moab RV Campground which had a hot tub and pool open. The other place we wanted to stay at did not have their pool up this early. The weather was okay except the wind and overcast. It was in the 60's.
After arriving Friday, we relaxed and spent time at the campground. Saturday, we headed out to Gemini Bridges. Brenda took the truck and followed Highway 313 to the Gemini Bridge turn off. The boys rode their bikes from there as well. Mike (Robertson), Steve (Leftwich), and myself rode the ATV's from Highway 191 turn off to the bridges.We had a snack at Gemini Bridges and then headed back to Highway 191 (all of us). I took a lot more pic's than I did in January.
On Sunday, we rode the Hurrah Pass trail up and back. The ladies stayed at the campground while Steve took the boys 1/2 way up Hurrah Pass and let them ride the bikes back down. Mike, Austin (Leftwich), and myself rode the ATV's up and back taking lots of pic's and meeting a few people along the way.
All in all the trip was much needed and Ray and I had a great time. Can't wait to go out again.
