Date night tonight was at Goodwood in Orem. The food was great and service was very fast. We ordered and about 5 minutes later our appetizers came and 5-7 minutes later our meal came. That was fast service.
After dinner we headed out to the vehicle when all of a sudden we heard a loud pop and all the lights in the parking lot went out as well as all lights on the southeast section of University Mall. Nordstrom's, Goodwood, The MAC store and the food court were without power. Even the traffic lights out on 800 East were out. The Sports Authority must have been on a separate circuit because they still had power as well as the rest of University Mall stores. UP&L is going to be busy tonight.
Ray and I laughed about the power going out and commenting that we got out just in time. I guess we could have had dinner by candle light if they had any because it looked like Goodwood didn't have a backup generator. That was a great date!
