Andrew and Becca had their last reception Friday (August 14th). They will always remember the two very different receptions. In Enumclaw (WA), it was hot and dry. In Orem (UT), it was windy and rain delayed. Something to tell in family circles for years to come. Each reception was fun but we as parents are glad it is over with. Now they can move on and enjoy life together.
On another note, Saturday (August 15th) was two Geo-Cache events. The 1st a CITO (cache in trash out). The geocache group maintains the road south of Cabelas for two miles. We started at 7:00 am and worked until the wind became too intense and the rain started. We did get quite a bit of trash cleaned up. The 2nd event was in conjunction with Eureka's Tinic Silver Festival. There was a geodash event planned around town during this event. It took you to several historical sites. I did not go on the geodash but did visit a few of the sites. Pretty cool. I am definately going next year.
